St. Thomas
St. Thomas is one of the oldest and most beautiful parishes on the island. It was named in honour of Thomas Hickman, the Governor of Jamaica in 1662. St. Thomas is a major producer of bananas, sugar cane and coffee. Both commercial and administrative activities are prevalent in this parish.
